The Church Mice of Laurel Heights United Methodist Church is a dedicated group of men and women who get together from 9 a.m. until noon on Thursday mornings to build, repair, care, and provide help around the church in a variety of ways. It helps if you know how to drive a nail, but if you don't, the Church Mice can show you how! And besides, not everything they do involves construction.
All that is required for membership is a willingness to help! The group usually undertakes a different project each Thursday. And, on the last Thursday of the month, they help assemble the church newsletter. If you find things in need of repair around the church, or have suggestions about something that needs to be changed (for better accessibility, for example), leave a note on one of the Church Mice cards found at their suggestions box in the dining room on the second floor. (The suggestions box can be found next to the big bell on the table against the back wall in the fellowship hall.) For more information about become one of our Church Mice, call (210) 733-7156.
